Supporting You in times of loss
Behind the headlines

At some point in our lives, all of us will come face to face with loss. Like our mental health, the emotional trauma of loss or bereavement is often invisible to others.

The feeling of loss is an emotional body blow. For 10% of people, those feelings of grief and loss don't lessen over time.

We believe no one should be unsupported when facing loss.

Supporting You in times of loss
Supporting you - in times of loss
We need help, kindness and understanding to heal - and it doesn't happen with a single hug. Our Helpers and Heroes spend many hours just checking in and having a chat with people, supporting them through the different stages of grieving.

We help with the practical things, such as driving people to the funeral directors, or picking up some shopping. Most of all, we listen with kindness and respect.

Some of the people who are most vulnerable will need professional help and support to get them through - and we're able to provide that through our network of trusted charity partners and organisations.
