4 million children are in food poverty in the uk right now. That's twice the number in 2022.
Helping everybody have enough to eat
Behind the headlines

Almost 4 million people used a food bank in 2022.

Apart from energy bills, the cost of putting food on the table is now the biggest single pressure for those living on a low income.

Britain's food poverty rate is among the highest in Europe, according to local.gov.org, March 2023.

But many are struggling along in silence, feeling that it's somehow their fault that their wages can't keep up with rocketing food prices.

Our Food Lifeline is there to support them and their families with kindness and without judgement.

We throw them a lifeline.

Helping everybody have enough to eat
Supporting you - helping everybody have enough to eat
It's a basic human right. Yet 8.4 million people in the UK go hungry, skip meals to feed their children, or simply run out of food days before the money comes in.

4 million of them are children - double the number just one year ago. Even with more food banks and more free school meals, the food poverty gap is widening.

Supporting You works directly with charity partners to get emergency food deliveries to those aren't mobile, or don't have transport.

We help make sure that food gets to the people who need it most.
